I’m a pastor and an executive director, and I love the work I do. But a few years in, I realized something was missing. My impact was limited to one space, one sector. And everywhere I looked, I saw the same thing: people with real gifts and real talents, stuck.

Stuck because they believed entrepreneurship was binary — stay miserable in a job that pays, or risk everything and go broke. Most people choose miserable. They have bills to pay.

So I started asking a better question: What do you actually want to do?

When people answer that honestly, something shifts. Most of them have never been seriously asked. They’ve been told what they should do — what’s practical, what’s safe, what pays. Nobody asked them what they actually want.
